Nigeria emerged as the Largest potato producer in the continent, contributing to 58% of the overall volume. Furthermore, Nigeria's potato production surpassed Algeria,Egypt and Mali, the second-largest producers of potato in Africa, by a significant fivefold margin. Niger secured the third position with an 11% share of the total production volume.
